Late Night Series

The Late Night Series (LNS) is an eclectic open-mic hybrid event run by Westphal’s Music Industry and Entertainment & Arts Management students.
Late Night Series

Every Thursday, anyone interested in claiming a five-minute performance slot—whether for music, comedy, poetry, or dramatic monologues—can sign up at 7:30 p.m. for the 8:00 p.m. show, which is free and open to all ages (Creese Commuter Lounge, 32 & Chestnut Streets). As a forum for student artists and local performers, LNS features headlining acts of both Drexel students as well as artists from around the region. LNS seeks to support student artists and to develop and foster a community of performing artists in Philadelphia, on campus and around Drexel.

Students who are interested can help manage, market, or serve as technical run crew for LNS. Roles include: live sound mixing; stage management; and show coordination. Other possible student positions include managing social media, blogging, artist recruitment and management, recording, and building community partnerships.
