Percussion Ensemble
The Drexel University Percussion Ensemble brings together the ancient with the modern in percussion instrument applications.
Students will learn to play traditional hand percussion instruments such as the tabla and dumbek, along with orchestral mallet instruments such as the marimba and vibraphone. Students will also incorporate modern percussion technology with Drexel's turntable and drum machine rig. The ensemble will also work on compositions and productions of its own creation.
