Michael Lucas did his first co-op at the Johnson & Johnson company, Animas Corporation. The company manufactures insulin pumps for diabetics and Michael worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer there. His second and third co-ops were spent at Merck, where he also stayed on part-time in between for a yea; he first worked as a manufacturing investigator for deviations, then as a pharmaceutical technology and development engineer. After graduation, he plans to return to Merck's Manufacturing Division in their rotational program. Michael's Senior Design advisers were Dr. Allen and Dr. Han of Biomedical Engineering.
