Kayla Camara

As a recipient of the Nurse Corps Scholarship, Kayla will pursue her nursing career working with underserved communities in areas where there is a critical shortage of health care providers. Kayla studied Global Public Health and International Affairs at the George Washington University. After graduating, she served as a U.S Peace Corps volunteer in the Kingdom of Swaziland as an HIV/AIDS educator, combining her passion for public health with the desire to learn about other cultures.
