For more than 45 years the PhRMA Foundation has supported the training, research, and careers of young pharmaceutical scientists by awarding competitive grants and fellowships. PhRMA offers 2-year predoctoral fellowships in pharmacology/toxicology for scientists who are prepared to engage in research that integrates information on molecular or cellular mechanisms of action with information on the effects of an agent observed in an intact organism, either in experimental animal or clinical studies or both.

This program provides two years of stipend funding during the doctoral program after course work has been completed and the remaining training activity is a student's research project.
