Development…for Good: Building a 15-Minute Neighborhood

Tuesday, May 20, 2025

6:00 PM-7:30 PM

Join us for another installment of The Citizen’s Real Estate Development… for Good, powered by Drexel University’s Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation and Fitler Club, on — literally — building a better, more inclusive, and prosperous Philadelphia featuring …

Charles Lomax, Lomax Real Estate Partners CEO
Kelvin Jeremiah, Philadelphia Housing Authority CEO

Learn about two mixed-use developments making the 15-minute neighborhood a reality: Village Square, built by Lomax Real Estate Partners, will feature a grocery store, health clinic, and radio station intended to combat university-adjacent displacement and encourage pathways to Black homeownership. PHA’s Sharswood Choice Neighborhood is the vision for 40 revitalized blocks in North Philly including mixed-income housing, the first grocery store in 50 years, a school, parks, and more.
