Coaches

Network coaches are a key to the programs success. They are trained in trauma-informed, healing-centered approaches to support the development of Network members and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Brittany Nelson

Britany is a former Network member from cohort 36. She is a licensed life and health insurance agent and has helped many families and children become financially secure. She is a mother of three and credit repair is her specialty. She enjoys using her voice and experience to help others, in hopes that as many people as possible can overcome the obstacles preventing them from reaching their goals.

Keith is a financial expert with two decades in the financial services industry. Over the years he has developed curriculum and taught courses in personal and spiritual personal growth and development and has taught pre-licensing courses in the insurance industry. He is a graduate of the American College of Financial Services.

Korah has a passion for research and community empowerment and received a B.S in Health Administration from Drexel University. She has experience facilitating mental and physical health sessions for teens and helping parents budget for success. Korah spends her free time doing yoga and in nature completely disconnected from fast-paced city life.

Leona Brown

Leona has over 15 years experience in retail in roles including store manager and merchandiser and as an administrative assistant. She loves spending time with her four children, taking walks alone, singing, dancing, reading, and doing crafts with resin. She is a proud member of the Network and serves on the Network Advisory Council.

Millie Headshot

Millie

Millie brings a background in social work, advocacy, and research to their role as a coach. Prior to joining the Center, Millie worked with the Kids Cooking Coalition in North Carolina and conducted home health visits in rural Appalachia. Millie receive a masters degree in social work policy from Colombia University and advocates for needs of transgender folks in Pennsylvania prisons.

Molly Ashodian Headshot

Molly Baird Ashodian

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Molly spent the last decade working for non profits, city government, and a healthcare workers' union. She graduated from the University of Vermont and led trainings on effective communication, collective bargaining, and political advocacy. In her spare time, Molly enjoys cooking and going on walks in the Wissahickon with her dog, Baxter.

Raheem Stevenson

A native of Philadelphia, Raheem has over 12 years of financial sales and management experience. and opened his own business in 2009. He is an alumnus of Virginia State University and former varsity athlete. Raheem serves as a deacon and ministry leader, president of an organization, and a varsity football coach. He is a proud member of the Urban Financial Services Coalition and a dedicated father of three.
