Hear about innovative public health research and practice that is happening locally, nationally, and globally with a focus on improving population health and eliminating health disparities at the Dornsife School of Public Health's annual Population Health Spotlight Series.

The 2021-2022 theme is “Climate, Justice and Health.”

Talk Title: “What Time Is It In the Clock of The World? A Framework for Just Transition”

About the Speaker

Mateo Nube is one of the co-founders of the Movement Generation Justice & Ecology Project. He was born and grew up in La Paz, Bolivia. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, he has worked in the labor, environmental justice and international solidarity movements. Mateo is the son of Barbara, and fortunate father of Maya and Nilo. He is also a member of the Latin rock band Los Nadies. Mateo is national co-chair of the Climate Justice Alliance’s Board of Directors.
