Sexual Harassment

Title IX Resource Page

Drexel University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its educational, extracurricular, athletic or other programs, or in the context of employment. Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which provides:

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

The University’s obligation under Title IX not to discriminate on the basis of sex extends not only to current students and employees, but also to applicants for admission and employment.
