Overview
International Gateway Program
The International Gateway program is a pathway for international students who would benefit from additional English language preparation before matriculating into an undergraduate program. Students in the program receive a foundation year of study and full immersion into campus life.
In addition to working to improve their English abilities, Gateway students take courses worth up to 25 transferable credits. After successfully completing the program, students transfer directly into their undergraduate major at Drexel.
Accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA), the goal of this 6- to 12-month program is to serve as a pathway to a comprehensive academic career. That is why Gateway students not only work to improve their English abilities, but take courses for up to 25 transferable credits within the College of Arts & Sciences (CoAS) at Drexel University.
