Brian Kearns
Senior Vice President, Business Development and Investor Relations, Globus Medical
Brian Kearns offers over 30 years diversified financial experience in the healthcare industry. From January 2015 to present, Mr. Kearns has served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations for Globus Medical, a leading publicly traded musculoskeletal technology company, where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and integrating all mergers and acquisitions. He is also responsible for Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to Globus, Mr. Kearns provided corporate development and strategic planning services to small to mid-sized healthcare companies through a consulting company he founded in 2009. Prior to that, his experience includes: four years as CFO of the nation’s oldest publicly traded generic pharmaceutical company; four years as CFO of a ten thousand employee publicly traded healthcare services company; six years equity research at Salomon Smith Barney (now Citi) and Bank of America following pharmaceutical, managed care and hospital sectors; and over six years financial management at Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Kearns received his B.S. Finance from Lehigh University, his M.B.A. from Rider University and his Masters in Health Care Innovation from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Board of Lumoptik, an early stage medical device company. He is a founding member of the Society for Health Care Innovation. He served on the Board of Directors, as Treasurer and on the Executive Committee of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. He lives in Moorestown, NJ with his wife Jane, and their three children.
