Bio:
Natalie Mancini has been teaching Japanese at various institutions ranging from middle schools, high schools, universities and language schools across the United States since 2009 and has been teaching at Drexel University since 2017. She created curricula for all levels of Japanese from introductory to advanced level. She emphasizes real-life speaking skills and interpersonal skills using a variety of conversation models and communicative tasks. She helps attain learning objectives by adapting engaging content and activities incorporating topics relevant to the learner interests. She has conducted several global classrooms and organized opportunities for the Drexel students to engage in communicative activities and short projects with students from Tamagawa University in Japan. She helps advising the Japanese Undergraduate Student Association (JUSA). She has also done translation and interpretation work between English and Japanese speaking clients.
