Bio:

Nakho Kim is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Communication, focused on political communication and digital culture. His key interests are media ethics, participatory digital environments, and comparing international media systems, to foster media environments for an well-informed public. It includes issues such as how to utilize media technologies to get people engaged, from participatory journalism to digital entertainment. He worked at the communication program at the Penn State Harrisburg and holds a PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also an editor-at-large at Slownews.kr, a Korean alternative news outlet specializing in solution journalism.
