Bio:
My academic background spans geological and environmental sciences, with a particular focus on biogeochemistry, which lies at the intersection of these disciplines and is central to much of my research. I am committed to involving students at all levels in the research process, providing opportunities for meaningful, hands-on experiential learning.
In the classroom, I engage students through laboratory experiments, interactive activities, and field-based experiences that connect course concepts to the natural world. Through these experiences, I aim to help students develop strong, transferable skills, strengthen their critical thinking and scientific reasoning, and cultivate a lasting curiosity about and appreciation for Earth’s interconnected systems.
