Mini Conference: Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Support

Join the College of Arts and Sciences' celebration of undergraduate research! After six months of dedicated exploration, students from the Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Support (ASURS) cohort 4 and their mentors will share and present their findings.

5–5:30 p.m. | Brief Student Talks
5:30–7 p.m. | Poster Presentations and Refreshments in PISB Lobby
A few examples of their work includes:
- Studying cosmic ray data taken from the volcano Mauna Kea under the direction of the Physics department
- Trends in incarceration pathways among Autistic adults under the direction of the Criminology and Justice Studies department
- The structure of spontaneous thoughts and how they relate to mental health under the direction of the Psychological and Brain Sciences department
These projects and more will be on display during this special conference for the our entire Drexel University community.
About the ASURS Fund
This donor-funded program promotes hands-on experience with research and scholarly activities for undergraduates enrolled in a College of Arts and Sciences major or minor. Successful applicants receive $1,500 in funding over six months and are matched with a faculty or PhD candidate mentor in the college.
