Diversity in Dragons – Psychology programs for prospective graduate students

Monday, May 22, 2023

6:30 PM-8:30 PM

Drexel’s Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is committed to diversity and inclusion. Graduate school provides a pathway to advanced degrees that enhance career opportunities. However, potential candidates from some backgrounds face challenges in the pipeline to higher education.

Please join us at the workshop "Diversity in Dragons," intended for prospective graduate students interested in Drexel University’s Department of Psychology. This workshop will connect you with current graduate students and our all-star faculty for informative sessions on the application and interview process. While we are committed to the goal of increasing enrollment from traditionally underrepresented groups, all prospective graduate students are welcome to attend this event.

Workshop sessions include:

  • Welcome to Drexel!
  • Overview of doctoral and master’s programs
  • Funding your graduate education
  • Crafting a successful application
  • Navigating the interview process
  • Break out meet-and-greet
  • Being a graduate student at Drexel University
