Anne Diaz-Arrastia, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Anne received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 from Texas Woman’s University and went on to complete Drexel University’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program in 2018, obtaining her board-certification specialty in orthopaedics in 2019. She has been practicing for seven years in the sports orthopedic physical therapy setting, currently enjoying her role as associate clinic director of Drexel University Physical Therapy Services. She particularly enjoys working with post-operative patients, Drexel’s varsity athletes, dancers/performing artists and patients with vestibular-related conditions. More than anything, she loves that she gets to work closely with all community members with any orthopedic complaint get back to living the life they want to live.
Kevin Gard, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Kevin has been providing physical therapy treatments to the Drexel community since 1998. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University (now part of Drexel University) in 1992 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2004. He was initially certified as an orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2001 and has been recertified in 2011 and 2021. Kevin is a clinical professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at Drexel where he serves as vice-chair of the department and director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Kevin enjoys working with all types of injuries, but particularly likes those related to sports and running. A runner himself, he has completed nine marathons, including the Boston Marathon twice.
Noel Goodstadt, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Noel has been a physical therapist for over 25 years, earning his Master of Physical Therapy from MCP-Hahnemann University and transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. In 2002, he earned his Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Certification. He was a clinician and faculty member at the University of Delaware for seven years prior to joining Drexel University, where he is a clinical professor. At both Universities, Goodstadt has had a leadership role in residency education and clinical care. He is founder and director of Drexel University’s first residency in physical therapy, starting the Drexel University Orthopaedic Residency in 2013 and graduating 100% of all residents who have all gone on to pass the orthopaedic clinical specialist examination during their first attempt. In 2019, he helped develop and earn accreditation for the Good Shepherd Drexel University Pediatric Residency as the director of the didactic curriculum. He has presented at the national and international levels on the care of individuals with musculoskeletal disorders. Noel’s areas of specialty and interest include shoulder, spine, and knee and return to sports testing.
Robert Maschi, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Rob received his Master of Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 1994 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2004. He is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedics. Rob is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation where he teaches Clinical Orthopedics, Kinesiology and Running Biomechanics courses in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. His clinical and research interests focus on the analysis of running biomechanics and their relationship to overuse injuries as well as the role of the pelvic girdle and core function in musculoskeletal injury.
Sara Tomaszewski, PT, DPT
Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Sara has been practicing at Drexel University Physical Therapy Services since 2013, and takes pride in providing holistic, person-centered orthopaedic physical therapy care. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2007 and has been a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist since 2012. As an assistant clinical professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Drexel University, Sara values the opportunity to share her passion for patient care while mentoring current DPT students and serving as a faculty mentor in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. She is ardently committed to the success of both her patients and her DPT students and believes that practicing and teaching concurrently strengthens her skills in both areas.
