CNHP Alumni Enjoy Good Food and Good Company at Holiday Party
December 1, 2012
On the evening of December 6, alumni of the College of Nursing and Health Professions gathered in a cozy space above Tir na Nog Irish Bar and Grill in the Phoenix building for the College’s Alumni Holiday Party. Alumni of various nursing and health profession programs gathered over delicious appetizers, soft drinks, wine, and beer during the networking event. Laura Valenti, Associate Vice President of Development and Marketing for the College, introduced Dean Gloria Donnelly, who shared some of her signature stand-up style humor as she talked about the College’s new Strategic Plan, the move underway from the Bellet Building to 3 Parkway, and about Bill Cosby’s benefit performance for 11th Street that took place in October. Dean Donnelly then introduced Michael Conti, an assistant clinical professor in Nursing Anesthesia, who served as a representative for the Drexel Alumni Association and for the newly-formed CNHP Alumni Network. Michael invited all alumni in attendance to join the Network, attend the next meeting in the New Year, and spread the word about the organization to other fellow graduates.
