Megan Walsh Ossont is an assistant clinical professor in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She received her BSN from the University of Scranton and Master of Science in Nursing with specialization in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her PhD from Villanova University.

She has over a decade of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and has practiced in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, emergency/consultation and corrections. She specializes in providing psychiatric care to adult females, including peripartum psychiatry. She maintains a clinical practice in correctional psychiatry.
