Kompact LLC is a software company that helps you summarize any news article, text from a website, document or pdf. Each user will have the ability to summarize virtually any text to the their preference, thanks to Kompact’s proprietary summarization natural language processing algorithm. There are three ways the user can summarize a text: choosing the percentage the user wants to read from the original text, the time the user want to read the text or choosing the number of sentences the user wants in the summary. Through these three methods of summarization, users have the flexibility to choose their preferred method depending on their time and lifestyle.

As the product designer, Daniel determines the best design and user experience for end users of Kompact. With a keen sense of design, Daniel implements prototypes, analyzes product fit for the market and further evaluates the product being made. Also serving as the Chief Financial Officer, Daniel deals with all the expenses and revenue earned from the application. Having an engineering background with a design-oriented approach, Daniel he has been able to set a goal and vision to what the idea and product can become. His engineering experience includes work at the Drexel Autonomous Systems Lab, Naval Research Laboratory and NASA.
Leonard Chan

An acclaimed developer, Leo Chan holds a track record for creating successful mobile applications. Leo is responsible for coding the prototype and has worked extensively with xCode, Java Script, C++ and other computer programing languages. His engineering acumen combined with his coding dexterity allows him to construct comprehensive applications that integrate diverse technologies. His technical talent has allowed him to work at engineering roles at the Drexel Autonomous Systems Lab and Penn State Research Laboratory.

Nigel serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kompact team. He aims to effectively promote the product and create a brand awareness acknowledged by a wide range of users. He is responsible for researching and ensuring that the product fits the market needs. Having roots in the Philly startup community, Nigel has worked tirelessly to maintain professional ties and find new avenues of growth for Kompact. His primary responsibility is raising capital and marketing the product that Kompact makes. Having a history of business development augmented by his technical knowhow, he proves to be a valuable asset to the company. Nigel has previously worked in engineering and product development at companies like Sunoco, Comcast and the University City Science Center.
