Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the role of child protection.
- Understand categories of child abuse in the law.
- Recognize potential risks/indicators of child abuse/neglect.
- Describe role of mandated reporter.
- Explain the referral process and follow up.
- Identify prevention resources.
Target Audience
Attending physicians, associate staff, referring physicians and nurses.
