Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the role of child protection.
  • Understand categories of child abuse in the law.
  • Recognize potential risks/indicators of child abuse/neglect.
  • Describe role of mandated reporter.
  • Explain the referral process and follow up.
  • Identify prevention resources.

Target Audience
Attending physicians, associate staff, referring physicians and nurses.
