Milestone Wins for Paige DeAngelo

Congratulations to Paige DeAngelo on her remarkable progress in her entrepreneurial journey with her company, Aer Cosmetics!

She has recently achieved two significant milestones:

  1. The Draper Competition - 2nd Place Paige advanced to the semi-finals of the 2023 Draper Competition Semi-Finals. She then placed second in the Draper Competition Finals - receiving a $20K prize and a full ride to Draper University! The Draper Competition focuses solely on collegiate women entrepreneurs. This competition has helped develop nearly 500 startup entrepreneurs since 2013.
  2. Entrepreneur Organization Global Student Entrepreneurs Award - Moved to Global Finals Paige won the Philadelphia regional and U.S. finals for the Entrepreneur Organization Global Student Entrepreneurs Award (GSEA) in San Diego. Furthermore, Paige has qualified for the GSEA Global Finals held in South Africa this June! The GSEA is committed to supporting entrepreneurs through its network of connections and education, enabling individuals to achieve their potential for success.

Paige DeAngelo’s entrepreneurial journey began when she presented her innovative venture, Aer Cosmetics at the Close School’s Startup Fest 2021. She participated in the Baiada Incubator Competition and was awarded second place. Aer Cosmetics has carved a niche within the cosmetics industry by focusing on sustainability and waste-free makeup. Paige’s commitment to sustainable living led her to file a patent for the first-ever Dissolvable Mascara Tablet. Her creativity and hard work have not gone unnoticed, and have rightfully been awarded through competitions and in the press. Paige will surely go on to continue to change the definition of sustainability in makeup.
