Dragon Volunteers 

We see volunteerism as an integral part of Drexel's culture, and the Lindy Center for Civic Engagement has expanded its scope to connect our full time professional employees to volunteer opportunities. In support of Drexel's commitment to civic engagement, Drexel employees receive 16 hours per year to volunteer in the community, alongside reportable paid time off for holidays and sick time. Faculty members are also welcome and encouraged to participate in these civic engagement opportunities.

Through the Dragon Volunteers program, full time professional staff can enhance their civic identity by volunteering at locations throughout campus and within the greater Philadelphia region.

Home Purchase Assistance Program

As part of Drexel's commitment to an engaged-anchor mission, we care about stabilizing homeownership in the neighborhoods contiguous to the University City campus. Full- and part-time benefits-eligible employees may be interested in taking advantage of the Home Purchase Assistance Program, administered by Drexel Human Resources. This benefit offers a forgivable loan towards the purchase or renovation of a home within our specific geographic footprint.
