Startup Advising and Mentoring
The Baiada Institute provides Drexel entrepreneurs with access to individuals that can assist at any stage of a startup's life. Our Advising and Mentoring Programs “amp up” the entrepreneur's abilities and help accelerate their learning, venture progress, and skill development. These programs are designed to provide student, recent graduate, and alumni entrepreneurs with access to experienced individuals who can provide advice and mentoring as they develop new ideas and launch startups.
Current Programs
The Baiada Institute's Entrepreneurship Advising and Mentoring Programs include:
- StartupTree Mentor Match - “StartupTree Match” is a university-wide database of experienced
entrepreneurs and industry experts that provide high quality advice and mentorship to Drexel
student, faculty, and alumni ventures. Facilitated through an online platform called StartupTree,
this program is available to all Drexel students and serves as an access point to deep industry
knowledge and startup experience with the goal of making Drexel-affiliated ventures more
successful. Meetings may be in-person or virtual.
- Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program – comprised of highly-qualified individuals who work in our
incubator on a semi-regular basis to work with our startup community. These individuals often
serve as “Lead Mentors” and act as the key contact for the venture’s entrepreneur(s) between
mentoring sessions.
