UHC Weekly Forum

Our Weekly Forum provides an informal opportunity for the UHC to come together and for faculty, students, staff, and others to discuss research questions, practice presentations, hold roundtable discussions or discuss works in progress. In getting together to discuss our work and projects, we encourage and promote consistent collaboration and team building within the UHC.

Madeline Plummer will present "Socioeconomic Status, Health Locus of Control, and Inflammation Among Cancer Survivors," Jingxin Yao, MS will present "Association of Household Wealth and Inflammation among Adults in the Midlife in the United States (MIDUS) Study, and Agus Surachman, PhD will present “Socioeconomic Status, Epigenetic Agingand Declines in Kidney Function Across a Decade.”" 

March 13, 2024, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Caroline Kravitz, MPH will present “Project Proposal: Understanding the Implementation of Food as Medicine Benefits” and Allie Eastus, MS will speak about immigration.

March 20, 2024, 11:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Leah Schinasi, PhD will present on a topic related to heat, and Karlin Moore will present a THRIVEair project update.

April 10, 2024, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Jackie Jahn, PhD, MPH will present “Evaluating Firearm Violence After New Jersey’s Cash Bail Reform” and Ayden Scheim, PhD will present “Legal gender recognition and health: a systematic review.”

April 17, 2024, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Anneclaire DeRoos, PhD, MPH will present “Philadelphia greenspace during infancy & asthma incidence”, and Josiah Kephart, PhD, MPH and Andrea Jaffee will present “Climate change and temperature-related mortality in Latin American cities.”

 


These events will be held both in person at UHC's office and virtually.
