The Faculty Affairs Committee shall be responsible for policy recommendations concerning faculty rank and welfare, faculty leave, and matters of professional conduct; ... and shall monitor and review policies and procedures concerning the adjunct faculty of the University. It shall serve as the planning and policy committee of the Senate on matters of faculty equity, equal opportunity, and affirmative action.
