Senate Committee on Academic Support
10.4 The Academic Support Committee shall monitor and review the academic services, quality of instructional facilities, computer services, cultural programs, and museum and library services of the University. The Committee shall formulate policies and proposals to be submitted to the Senate. Members from the Committee shall serve as liaison with appropriate administrative officers and councils of the University, and shall represent the faculty, with voice and vote, on the appropriate University committees and the appropriate committees of the Board of Trustees. The Academic Support Committee shall consist of one faculty representative from each academic unit, elected by the voting members of that academic unit, and at least two, but no more than six, members at-large elected by the Senate. The Provost and the Dean of Libraries shall serve as ex-officio members of this Committee, with voice but not vote.
