Tarita Roy Choudhury

My interests lie in both marine conservation and urban environmental issues. I studied abroad with SEA Semester in Fall 2016 and was introduced to oceanographic research, marine protected areas and environmental issues on island nations. Now that I have been awarded a DAAD RISE scholarship to study climate change adaptation and environmental impact assessments for urban areas, I hope to gain more experience in environmental urban issues and how environmental reports can affect urban development and planning. My future career goals include research on conservation issues, sustainable urban design as well as policy making in one or both areas.
