Samuella Takyi-Buachie was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa and moved to the United States about ten years ago in order to pursue more educational opportunities. She is pursuing a BSBA in Finance and Marketing with minors in International Economics and International Area Studies. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to international development and global aid in some arena and enjoys working for companies with an international focus. For her second co-op she interned at Google's headquarters in California working for their small and medium-sized businesses as a Global Customer Experience Intern. Samuella is also an avid blogger and runs an online platform called “Sincerely, Samuella” where she shares her professional and personal experiences with the world with hopes of “enabling the dreams of others” and “inspiring others along the way.” On her blog, she focuses on the various scholarships and fellowships she has received, and the numerous domestic and international conferences and workshops she attends.
