About Me
I was born in Sacramento, CA where I enjoyed libraries from a young age. I started working at the Sacramento Public Libraries at 15 and after enjoying working at the Mark O Hatfield Library while attending school in Oregon. I returned to the Sacramento Public Libraries when I graduated and moved back to California to be near my family, and I currently enjoy a lovely internship in the Sacramento Room while also working for the UCD medical center library. I hope to work within the information field in a capacity that allows me to continue to develop my passion for preserving and presenting the history of biracial peoples in America.
Rachel was selected as an American Library Association Spectrum Scholar in 2011.
