Nevena Bosnic

Nevena Bosnic was selected for the Carnegie Junior Fellows Program, a highly-competitive award that enables recent graduates to work for a year with a senior fellow in one of the program areas of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.  Nevena will be working with the International Economics program.

Nevena is a high-achieving Economics student with minors in Political Science and International Area Studies. Nevena’s career goal is to work on developing and implementing international economic policy. She became interested in the European crisis as a Vidalakis Scholar in Crete, Greece during her co-op in the spring and summer of 2010. After returning to Philadelphia, Nevena pursued a research assistant position with Dr. Laincz of the Department of Economics and International Business. Her most recent co-op was with the U.S. Department of State in the Economic Section of the US Embassy in Athens, Greece.

Nevena has also been on the Executive Board of the Drexel Economics Society for all five years of her undergraduate studies, serving as President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Nevena, a Philadelphia native, is the first Drexel student to be a Carnegie Junior Fellow. Nevena feels so fortunate to have had the support and encouragement from the Economics Department, Fellowships Office, LeBow College of Business and Steinbright Career Development Center, which made her selection possible.
