Maxwell Franklin

Drexel Faculty Mentor: Eric Brewe, PhD

Maxwell completed his undergraduate education at Swarthmore College, where he majored in physics and minored in linguistics. While there, he did research on the effectiveness of physics courses for life science students and on the self-efficacy of women in physics. After graduating, he spent a year doing research on the views of physics education researchers on non-education faculty, culminating in a conference paper. Currently, he is a first year doctoral student at Drexel, where he wants to study factors surrounding retention of women in physics.
