Environmental Science PhD, 2011
I graduated from Drexel's Science, Technology, and Society Masters Program in 2008, completing a thesis on urban agriculture and democracy in Philadelphia. I am currently a doctoral candidate in Drexel’s Environmental Science Program, focusing my studies on environmental policy. With support from Drexel Engineering Cities Initiative, I am collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of researchers to explore the challenges and potential of a green infrastructure approach to urban stormwater management. I am particularly interested in deliberative theories of democracy, their application to the practice of environmental decision-making, and interpretive methods of policy analysis.
