Di Wang is an MS Economics student at the School of Economics, LeBow College of Business. Born in China, Di earned his bachelor’s degree from the Capital University of Economics and Business, in June 2009, majoring in International Finance. In 2012, Di earned his first Master’s degree from Northeastern University, majoring in Leadership with a specialization in Financial Markets and Institutions. Now he is on his way to completing his second Master’s degree in Economics.
From a young age, Di dreamed of pursuing a career as a researcher and educator. With his previous internship experiences during his undergraduate and graduate programs, Di now has a better understanding of core economic theories and the quantitative methods of analysis that supports those theories. His key interests are in the areas of Anti-Trust and Monetary Policy, and his long term goal is to enroll in a PhD program after completion of the Masters.
