Armir Koka
When Armir Koka (Film and Video, BS, ’11) worked for Big Picture Alliance, a non-profit organization that helps Philadelphia’s underserved youth through engaging media arts programs, he realized how students with no prior film experience had created some very genuine and authentic work. Armir now works as a videographer and video editor, and volunteers as an ESL teacher at (check in his application). He hopes to spend a year in Kosovo as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, and plans to use his background in film as a creative teaching method in the classroom. Armir also hopes to referee soccer tournaments in Kosovo as a way to get involved with the local community.
