The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is a U.S. Department of Energy institute managed by Oak Ridge Associated Universities. ORISE provides expertise in STEM workforce development, scientific and technical reviews, and the evaluation of radiation exposure and environmental contamination.

ORISE offers a variety of research internships/opportunities for undergraduate students at national laboratories and federal research facilities in the following program areas:
