Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs

The Coro Fellowship Program is a full-time, nine month, graduate-level experiential leadership training program that prepares diverse, talented and committed individuals for effective and ethical leadership in public affairs.

Fellows are assigned to a Center in one of five locations: Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and St. Louis. Throughout the nine months, each Fellow joins a 12-person cohort for a program involving full-time placements in business, government, non-profit, labor, and political campaigns. Fellows' community learning is supplemented by group seminars, rigorous skills training, and individual and group project work assignments.

Coro Fellows represent a broad range of academic, work, cultural, racial and economic backgrounds, ages, and interests. What they share is a commitment to positive change in their communities throughout their lives and careers. They are emerging innovators in business, policy and government who demonstrate exceptional leadership through their accomplishments, curiosity and civic involvement.

Coro is looking for people who have demonstrated leadership either academically or within a community and have an interest in public affairs. In addition, Coro looks for the following qualities: ability to work within a diverse group, commitment to public service, flexibility, and intellectual curiosity.
