Finding Fellowships

This database highlights awards of interest to Drexel students and includes Drexel-specific information, such as internal deadlines or nomination processes. Core and Priority awards are always listed at the top of the search. You can expand your search by exploring other databases as well as other resources available at Drexel.


Explanation of Search Filters

Fields of Study: Limit results to fellowships requiring specific majors/disciplines. Select "All Fields" to see fellowships open to all majors/disciplines.


Program Type: Limit results based on the type of activity supported by the fellowship.

  • Co-op Compatible: Fellowships that can be done as a co-op, or that fund an otherwise unfunded co-op.
  • Funded Graduate Program: Funds graduate study at a specific institution or set of institutions.
  • Graduate Fellowship: Funds graduate study or research at any institution. Includes fellowships for undergraduates that provide funding for grad school.
  • Post-Grad Service Opportunity: Provides an opportunity for recent graduates to do public service.
  • Professional Opportunity: Provides career training, networking, and work experience.
  • Public Service: Fellowships for students interested in careers in public service.
  • Research: Supports a research opportunity (including research internships, funding for research projects, graduate research, and more).
  • Study: Provides a study opportunity.
  • Study Abroad Compatible: Funds study abroad or similar programs.
  • Global Experience: Funds an experience outside of the US (including travel, research, study, professional opportunities, and more).
  • Undergraduate Tuition Scholarship: Provides tuition support for undergraduate students.

Program Length: Limit results by length of time the fellowship funding or activity lasts.


Degree Level: Limit results by status at the time the fellowship funding or activity takes place (not time of application).


Location: Limit results by physical location of fellowship activity. Select "Not Applicable" to see fellowships that do not have a physical location.


Citizenship: Limit results by citizenship required to apply.
