Arhama Rushdi (Political Science, BS '14, Honors)

Arhama has a keen interest in human rights law and foreign policy research. Beginning with a comparative research paper on democracy development in Pakistan and India during her first year at Drexel, she has since authored three additional publications on topics such as presidential wartime decision-making during the Iraq and Afghan wars. She has also been working as a research assistant for Dr. Hoover Green's project on violence in armed-group conflicts.

On campus, Arhama founded Dragons for Palestine, participates in Drexel's Model UN, and heads the Drexel Undergraduate Research Association.

Arhama is proposing to work as a Carnegie Jr. Fellow in the South Asia Program. She plans to continue her education in a dual JD/PhD program, studying international human rights law and foreign policy. Good luck, Arhama.
