The Lindy Institute's Urban Innovation Summit culminated in the inaugural Drexel Dialogues: Urban Innovation in the Age of Trump. Guests included:

• Bruce Katz, Centennial Scholar at the Brookings Institution, and Jeremy Nowak, Lindy Institute Distinguished Fellow, who discussed their forthcoming book, The New Localism, focused on how cities can innovate and lead in the wake of the federal government and states abdicating responsibility
• Shannon Marquez, Vice Provost at Drexel and Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health at Drexel; Roberto Moris, Professor of Architecture at Catolica University in Santiago, Chile with a focus on disaster planning; and Alan Greenberger, Lindy Institute Distinguished Fellow and Chair of Drexel’s Department of Architecture, Design & Urbanism, with deep experience in large scale planning and economic development, discussed global urbanism and innovations Philadelphia can bring home from the rest of the world.
• Lindy's local Urban Innovation Fellows, three Philadelphia-based emerging leaders debuted their plans for impact in their communities developed at the Summit. 

Drexel Dialogues was held at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University and produced in partnership with Drexel’s Office of Global Engagement and Education Abroad as the culminating event of Global Philly 2017, with support from The William Penn Foundation, Wyncote Foundation and Knight Foundation.
