Drexel Faculty Mentors: Aaron Fafarman

Shawn Mengel is currently a senior BS/MS student in Chemical Engineering at Drexel University. He has worked in Dr. Aaron Fafarman’s lab since freshman year, studying the effects of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystal surface chemistry on photovoltaic thin film manufacturing techniques. In his co-op experiences, Shawn also conducted research modeling free radical polymerization and inhibition reactions for 3D printing applications.
