Bio:

With six years of experience in scientific publishing and a passion for furthering missions of social justice and science literacy in Philadelphia, Ashley shared her skills to the ExCITe Center within the role of Communications Manager. Her previous work outside of the office as a board member of Girls Rock Philly furthers her interest in seeing how internal and external communication affect and cultivate a strong culture to empower and enhance its individual members.

She connected the dots between the different programs housed within ExCITe, contributing to a better informed and more collaborative makerspace for all its members. She holds a B.A. from Immaculata University in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations & Journalism. During her years there, she worked in the on-campus Writing Center and held the role of Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper.
