OED Staffing Update

The Office of Equality and Diversity is pleased to introduce our newest team members Gigi Wickline, assistant director for education and prevention, and Roxzine Scott, executive assistant II and program manager.

Reporting to Patience Ajoff-Foster, executive director for diversity and inclusive culture, Gigi will lead our education and prevention programming, focusing primarily on students. Rox will also work closely with Patience, focusing on educational program coordination and management.

Gigi Wickline (they/she) is an experienced diversity and inclusion coordinator with years of advocacy, education, training, and mentorship under their belt. Gigi joined Drexel University in early March as the Assistant Director for Prevention and Education within the office of Equity and Diversity. Prior to joining Drexel, Gigi served at Kean University in New Jersey in Residence Life with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and belonging. In this role Gigi oversaw all training, outreach, student programming, and mentorship efforts in support of underserved students on campus. Gigi is a proud first-generation college graduate who studied Psychology at Manhattanville College in her home state, New York.

Roxzine Scott is a seasoned Executive Assistant with over 25 years’ experience. In 2012, Roxzine joined Drexel University to provide executive administrative support for the Office of the President, as well as executive administrative support to the Senior Vice Provost, University and Community Partnerships. In this position, Roxzine serves as the first point of contact for the President’s Office and works alongside a team that performs a wide range of complex and confidential administrative functions in support of Drexel’s organizational and executive level goals. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University’s Goodwin College.

“As program manager in the Office of Equality and Diversity, Rox works closely with me on all of our inclusive culture initiatives including program coordination and managing our identity-based colleague resource groups. Rox continues to be instrumental in developing and implementing our operational processes even as she maintains her role in the Office of the President.” –Patience Ajoff-Foster
