Associate Vice President and Comptroller

The mission of the Office of the Comptroller is to ensure the stewardship and management of the University's finances through effective and efficient accounting processes; provide leadership and guidance in matters of financial accounting and research accounting; and assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of sound fiscal policies and accounting procedures, with the goal of enhancing internal controls and continuous improvement of financial systems in conjunction with the other University finance-related offices.

  • Provide access to financial policies, procedures and forms
  • Obtain monthly and year-end closing schedules
  • Establish new chart of account elements (funds, orgs, accounts, activity codes)

FY26 Proposed Fringe Rates for Sponsored Projects
Drexel University has submitted the fringe benefit proposal to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to establish the fiscal year 2026 fringe benefit rates for sponsored projects.
New Salus at Drexel Related Revenue and Expense Account Codes and Procedure - Effective Immediately
Effective immediately, we are establishing several new account codes to identify revenues and non-salary expenditures. These new account codes are as follows: 1377 – Auxiliary Revenues – Salus 1378 – Miscellaneous Income – Salus 3799 – Salus Expenses
Routing Queue Change for Effort Reporting and Grant Related Labor Redistributions
On September 30, 2024, we will be implementing a change to the Effort Reporting and Labor Redistribution modules of Banner. This change will affect who can approve grant-related effort reports and labor redistributions.
