Kathie Jordan, PhD
Kathie Jordan joined the School of Biomedical Engineering in 2015 to head the Coulter-Drexel Translational Research Partnership program. Prior to joining Drexel, she was the director of the Coulter program at the University of Washington, where she also worked in the technology transfer office. A recovering scientist, she spent her early career studying Drosophila ovarian development and the role of the innate immune pathways in mouse and endothelial models of sepsis. The latter was invaluable experience in understanding the practice of medicine, and research-stage drug development. She has a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from UW and a BS in Biology from Haverford College.
