Subaward Indirect Cost Thresholds and Account Codes
Current Drexel Practice (Important)
Drexel University’s NICRA has not yet been updated to incorporate the $50,000 MTDC threshold. At this time, departments must continue to apply the $25,000 MTDC threshold. Drexel must continue to use the currently approved account codes listed below.
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, which maintains a separate NICRA, is currently authorized to apply the $50,000 MTDC threshold.

These codes are currently used in Banner (Chart D). Chart S may continue to use these codes as applicable.
Future Subaward Account Codes — $50,000 MTDC Threshold (Currently for Chart S Only Use)
The following account codes have been established in Chart S to support a future $50,000 MTDC threshold. These codes may not be used in Banner (Chart D) until Drexel’s updated NICRA is approved.
