As you embark on your purposeful paths as leaders and changemakers, remember that you carry the spirit of a Dragon within you. This is not goodbye — it's a warm welcome into the Drexel alumni family.

About the Keynote Speaker
Mike Pellini, MBA ’92, is a general partner of S32, a venture capital firm investing in the frontiers of technology. Prior to joining S32 in 2017, Mr. Pellini served as CEO of Foundation Medicine Incorporated (FMI), a company that transformed the way pharmaceutical companies and physicians evaluate the genomic changes underlying a patient’s cancer. He transitioned to chairman in August 2018 when global healthcare company Roche acquired FMI.
He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Nusano, Singular Genomics, Adaptive Biotechnologies, Octave BioScience, TwinStrand Biosciences, Exai Bio, Delve Bio and the American Cancer Society. He previously served on the board of Thrive Earlier Detection, which was acquired by Exact Sciences in 2021, and Tango Therapeutics. Mr. Pellini’s activities as an investor and board member reflect a breadth of understanding in personalized medicine, with a particular interest and focus on defeating cancer.
Mr. Pellini earned an MBA from Drexel in 1992 and also holds a BA from Boston College and an MD from Jefferson Medical College.
