INDIVIDUAL COLLEGE AND SCHOOL CEREMONIES
JUNE 13-15, 2024

College and school ceremonies will be held on Drexel's University City Campus, at the Academy of Music, and at the Mann Center located in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.

DREXEL’S UNIVERSITY CITY CAMPUS - MANDELL THEATER

PARKING

Free parking will be available in:

Lot G

Drexel University Parking Garage: 34th and Ludlow Streets, entrance on Ludlow Street

On-campus parking during Commencement is available on a first come-first serve basis. Please have your respective college or school ceremony tickets on hand to show to parking volunteers and attendants.   

Guests with disabilities who are attending ceremonies at the Mandell Theater can be dropped off on the east side of 33rd Street, before reaching Chestnut Street (outside the University City Barnes and Noble Bookstore).

ACADEMY OF MUSIC, CENTER CITY

If your ceremony is at the Academy of Music, you are strongly encouraged to consider taking public transportation or parking on campus using the above information and taking the complimentary shuttles from University City Campus.

PARKING

Paid parking is available in the Kimmel Center Garage at varying rates.

ACCESSIBILITY DROP OFF

Guests with disabilities can be dropped off at the main entrance on Broad Street and will be directed to the accessible entrance on the south side of the building. Visit Accessibility for further information on accessibility by venue.

COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLES

Complimentary shuttle transportation will be available to and from the University City Campus to the Academy of Music on Wednesday, June 12 and Thursday, June 13. Please be advised that all shuttles will be on a continuous loop traveling approximately 30 minutes to each drop-off location so please plan accordingly

PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF LOCATIONS

  • University City Stop: Market Street between 33rd and 34th Streets (in front of Drexel Recreation Center)
  • Academy of Music Stop: Locust Street between Broad and 15th Streets (across from Estia restaurant)

SHUTTLE AVAILABILITY

  • Wednesday, June 12: 3 to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 13: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

THE MANN CENTER, FAIRMOUNT PARK

If your ceremony is at the Mann Center, please consider parking at that venue, where ample free parking is available.

PARKING

Free parking will be available in the main lot (both paved and grass areas) located outside the Plaza Gate. The entrance to access the main parking lot of the Mann Center is located off the Avenue of the Republic.

Tailgating is not permitted in any of the parking lots.

ACCESSIBILITY DROP OFF

Guests with disabilities can be dropped off at the “Donor Gate” entrance. The “Donor Gate” is located in the roundabout off the Avenue of the Republic, before you reach the Main Entrance Gate. Visit Accessibility for further information on accessibility by venue.

COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLES

Complimentary shuttle transportation will be available to and from the University City Campus to the Mann Center on Thursday, June 13 through Saturday, June 15. Please be advised that all shuttles will be on a continuous loop traveling approximately 30 minutes to each drop-off location so please plan accordingly

UNIVERSITY-WIDE CEREMONY, CITIZENS BANK PARK 

FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2024

DIRECTIONS

Please access parking directions to Citizens Bank Park on their website.

PARKING

Free parking will be available in lots R through X as indicated on the Citizens Bank Park [PDF] map. Parking lots and the gates to Citizens Bank Park will open at 3:30 p.m. Graduates and guests are encouraged to arrive between 3:30-4:45 p.m. to ensure enough time to enter the gates.

Tailgating is not permitted in any of the parking lots.

ACCESSIBILITY DROP OFF

Parking for guests with disabilities is located on the perimeter of each of the parking areas, and Phillies personnel will be on hand to offer assistance. If needed, guests with disabilities can also be dropped off at the Third Base Gate entrance off Pattison Avenue. Visit Accessibility for further information on accessibility by venue.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

SEPTA is the Philadelphia area’s public transportation provider. The Broad Street subway line takes passengers to the AT&T Station, which services the South Philadelphia Sports and Recreation Complex that is home to Citizens Bank Park. It is a several block walk from the station to the ballpark.
