Celebrating faculty, staff and students who explore the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.

Each year, the Drexel University College of Arts and Sciences community comes together for Research Day to celebrate our faculty, staff, and students who explore a wide range of topics spanning the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.

Research Day includes poster sessions and presentations from tenured, tenure-track, teaching and research faculty; postdoctoral fellows; graduate and undergraduate students; and research trainees. This annual event recognizes the diverse breadth and depth of the exceptional scholarly activity that takes place across our college.

Submit Your Abstract

Submissions are open for Research Day 2025. All tenured, tenure-track, teaching and research faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, and trainees are invited to submit abstracts for spoken or poster presentations.

Please submit your abstract for consideration no later than Monday, April 28, 2025. We look forward to reviewing your work.

Student Volunteers

We are seeking student volunteers to help with setup, run of event and cleanup to ensure Research Day runs smoothly. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know your availability and we will contact you with specific volunteer roles.

For alum only – help us judge!

An alumni judge and student engaged in discussion.

We invite you to become part of Research Day activities by serving as a distinguished judge for our second-annual Alumni Award for Best Poster Presentation. You will review a selection of posters along with Dean David Brown, other alum attendees and faculty members to select the most accomplished alum poster. Criteria and tips for judging will be provided. The winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony.
