As the annual Honors Day celebration demonstrates, the Drexel University College of Arts and Sciences is home to many of Drexel's finest students. We extend our gratitude to our faculty who nominated students and support them in their endeavors; and to our generous donors who have made many of these awards possible. Congratulations to our student honorees and their families — you make all of Drexel University proud!

Honors Day Awards Book

A Note from Interim Dean Kelly Joyce, PhD

After two years of virtual gatherings, it is a true pleasure to be able to come together in person to recognize the College’s best and brightest. The hard work of these remarkable scholars can be seen in the innovative research, uncommon creativity and sterling work that we honor with these awards.

Many of the students recognized at the Honors Day ceremony have been nominated by faculty members based on contributions in the classroom, the lab and the community; others have written essays or theses that were selected by department committees. All have maintained impressive records that set them apart from their peers.

I have no doubt that we will hear of these students again in the coming years, featured in magazines or published in journals, accepting fellowships, sharing their expertise, running for office and making a positive impact on the world around them.

To the faculty who nominated students and support them daily, thank you for your mentorship and your encouragement.

To the donors who have made many of these awards possible, thank you for your generosity and your belief in the College.

And to our student honorees, thank you for your determination and your willingness to share your talents. We congratulate you and your families, and can’t wait to see where you go from here.
